business leaders who want to get beyond the status quo

Tuesday, April 28, 2020 11:00 am - 3:30 pm

Brought to you FREE of charge by
Association for Print Technologies

The LeadingPRINT Summit was originally scheduled as a face-to-face event set for April 28th in Orlando, FL. In the face of the COVID-19 situation, we have rebuilt the Summit as an online program, and further, we are making it entirely FREE to industry leaders, like you, who want to renew your lease on success.

Based on the concept of radical innovation, you will learn the realities of business cycles and see the “S-curve” ahead, with guidance on how to jump it. Learn how to avoid commoditization, cash flow pressure and sales slow-downs that drive a business to a dangerous tipping point. You will hear from entrepreneurs who have successfully navigated their own business transformation and learn the dynamics of radical business innovation. Ask questions. Pitch ideas. Get advice. Since it’s delivered online, you can watch from anywhere.

Finding your inner entrepreneur: how to see opportunity and build a business around it

Out-of-the-box thinking is nothing new to entrepreneur Kary Radestock. With 25 years in commercial branding and packaging she recognized the enormous opportunity the cannabis industry could bring to a packaging business. After spending six months doing research and building a business plan, her company decided against moving forward and asked Kary to give up the idea. Instead she struck out on her own, forming Hippo Premium Packaging and the solutions she’s brought to that industry won her the title of “Cannabis Industry Woman of the Year.” In her session, Kary will share:

  • How she recognized an opportunity and the steps she took to migrate from mainstream commercial print/packaging into the burgeoning cannabis industry.
  • Her journey from a VP/Biz Dev to an entrepreneur and learn what it took to make the shift.
  • The pitfalls, difficulties and successes she’s had along the way, and her plan for continual innovation in building a successful cannabis packaging company.
